Factors influencing teachers' innovative teaching behavior with information and communication technology (ICT): the mediator role of organizational innovation climate.
Educators must integrate information and communication technology (ICT) into their teaching methods to ensure student's success in the modern digital age. The opening paragraphs of the article cover the necessity of innovation in teaching methods, mainly when using ICT. The main aspects that affect teachers' innovative teaching practices using ICT are then highlighted, including their attitudes toward ICT, their perception of ICT competency, and the support they receive from their organization. The paper makes the case that the organizational innovation climate might mediate a teacher's innovative teaching practices with ICT.
The activities and organizational culture that encourage invention are called the "organizational innovation climate." According to the paper, a supportive environment for innovation can motivate teachers to take chances, try out novel teaching techniques, and use cutting-edge technologies like ICT. It also emphasizes how crucial leadership assistance, tools, and instruction are in fostering a supportive environment for creativity.
The results of this
study have significant ramifications for academicians and business executives.
It is essential to encourage educators to adopt new technologies like ICT and
to provide them with the tools and training they need to do so successfully.
Organizational leaders should foster an environment that supports and promotes
new approaches to teaching. They may encourage instructors to use ICT in
innovative ways by doing this, which will ultimately improve student outcomes.
The article is
pertinent and instructive. Teachers must incorporate technology into their
teaching methods in today's ever-changing world. This paper emphasizes the
importance of corporate innovation climate in encouraging creative ICT-based
teaching practices.
My own experience has
shown me how technology may improve the educational process. For instance, most
of our lectures during the epidemic were held online, and we learned and worked
with our peers using various online tools and platforms. Technology was used to
enhance learning by making it more interactive and engaging.
